What is ReadtheWay?
ReadtheWay is a literary tourism app. As a result, we aim to offer a new form of travel combined with culture and literature. Additionally, we seek to provide new travel experiences and perspectives.
Why?
Because we believe that tourism should be more than visits to great monuments. Therefore, it should be interactive and a culturally interesting experience.
How?
ReadtheWay challenges you to experience a new form of tourism through themed routes associated with excerpts from books, authors, themes and much more.
Problems of Literary tourism...
1. Literary to Literary tourism is limited by author’s houses and museums.
2. Lack of interactive reading experiences for literary tourists.
3. Literary tourism and city sightseeing aren't linked.

A small route to honor the Portuguese 25th of April from 1974. Known as the “Carnation Revolution”.
With texts from 9 different Portuguese writers linked to a path that passes through the iconic places of that day, this route could be an excellent start!
